Why Strapless?

The elastic bands that are included in traditional hand paddles are used to keep the paddle attached to the hand throughout the swimming set, regardless of whether or not the swimmer is using proper stroke technique.

A strapless design requires the user to maintain pressure against the palm of the hand throughout the entire pulling motion. Any loss of this force will result in the paddle sliding away from the palm, providing instant feedback to the user.
